This intensive 5-day training academy focuses on providing individuals with the skills they need to guide, counsel, and support anyone who wishes to enter or maintain long-term recovery from an alcohol or other drug addiction. This is the basis of work to become a certified addiction recovery coach in the state of Massachusetts. The virtual training will encompass face-to-face interaction and will also require individual study.

Due to the unique nature of the Recovery Coach Role,
making ethical decisions is a critical part of the everyday.
The CCAR Ethical Considerations© workshop allows participants to explore different ethical challenges that may come up during the workday, while guiding them through their own process of decision making.
During this workshop, participants will:
· Understand what ethics are and why ethics are so important when performing Recovery Coach Services; Learn how to stay in your lane as a recovery coach; Understand the decision making process; Develop guidelines for making ethical decisions; And apply the new learning to your everyday work as a RC
